Indikatoren für Lern- und Innovationsprozesse in kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen

Abstract

Kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) sind ein zentraler Bestandteil des deutschen Mittelstands und tragen mit ihrer Innovationskraft bedeutend zur Leistungsfähigkeit der deutschen Volkswirtschaft bei. Dabei basiert die Innovationsfähigkeit von KMU oft weniger auf formaler Forschung und Entwicklung (F&E), sondern auf dem Zusammenspiel einer Vielzahl von Lernprozessen mit verschiedenen Akteuren. Für dieses Innovationsmodell wurde das Konzept des "learning by doing - using - interacting" vorgeschlagen. Basierend auf diesem breiten Lern- und Innovationskonzept sowie einer Serie von Unternehmens-interviews schlagen wir ein Indikatorenset vor, mit dem die Innovationstätigkeit in KMU ohne formale F&E umfassender abgebildet werden kann.
