Der tertiäre Sektor im volkswirtschaftlichen Zusammenhang: Zwei alternative Sichtweisen

Abstract

Die Untersuchung betrachtet den tertiären Sektor unter dem Aspekt der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Leistungserstellung in der Wissensgesellschaft. Sie stellt die komplexe Rolle der Dienstleistungen in der arbeitsteiligen Interaktion bei der laufenden Produktion ebenso wie bei der wissensteiligen Interaktion zur innovatorischen Entwicklung in den Mittelpunkt. Der Teil I zeigt, welche Unterteilung des tertiären Sektors sich angesichts seiner vielgestaltigen Leistungsbeiträge unter dem Aspekt dieser beiden Interaktionsbereiche empfiehlt. Teil II greift noch einmal den Stand der Diskussion über das einfache Zwei-Sektor-Modell von Baumol auf, insbesondere um auf dessen Beschränkungen hinzuweisen.
