Einsamkeit und sozialer Isolation begegnen: Ergebnisse einer Quartiersbefragung

Abstract

Einsamkeit und soziale Isolation betreffen Menschen aller Altersklassen. Eine Gelsenkirchener Initiative versucht in einem Pilotvorhaben, Einsamkeit und sozialer Isolation mit aufsuchender Sozialarbeit zu begegnen. Die wissenschaftliche Begleitung des Vorhabens durch die Westfälische Hochschule dient der Datenerhebung, Ergebnisdokumentation und dem Erkenntnistransfer. Eine Befragung der Bewohner:innen im Quartier zeigt, dass das Quartier von den dort lebenden Menschen sehr unterschiedlich wahrgenommen wird. Eine große Bedeutung für ein gelingendes soziales Miteinander haben für sie das Zusammenleben in der Nachbarschaft sowie Treffpunkte und Austauschmöglichkeiten.
