Wissenschaft zum Anfassen: Ergebnisse und Erkenntnisse aus dem H2PopUpLab Gelsenkirchen

Abstract

Das H2PopUpLab zielte darauf ab, Wissenschaft und Transfer in der Gelsenkirchner Innenstadt erlebbar zu machen und die Chancen der Wasserstoffforschung für regionale und individuelle Entwicklung aufzuzeigen. Im Eingangsbereich des ca. 500 m² großes Ladenlokal in 1A-Lage stand das Selbermachlabor, in dem die Besucherschaft direkt Wasserstoffexperimente durchführen konnte. Die "Wand der Chance" informierte über Karriere- und Bildungsangebote rund um das Thema Wasserstoff und Energiewende, wobei akademische und berufliche Bildung gleichberechtigt dargestellt wurden. Über 1800 Menschen besuchten das H2PopUpLab während der 70-tägigen Öffnungszeit. Die Mehrheit der Besucherschaft kann als Laufkundschaft (Spontanbesucherinnen und -besucher) gelten; 460 Personen nahmen an Workshops, Vorträgen, Schülerlaborkursen etc. teil. Dem H2PopUpLab ist es gelungen, eine sehr diverse Zielgruppe zu erreichen und mit Personen ins Gespräch zu kommen, die bisher wenig Berührung mit Wissenschaft hatten.
