Einblicke in nutzerzentrierte Entwicklungsprozesse von KI-basierten Augmented Reality (AR) Visualisierungen im Operationssaal: Projekt Karvimio

Abstract

Technologische Entwicklungen ermöglichen neue Konzepte für den intelligenten Operationssaal, der Patient:innensicherheit und Effektivität chirurgischer Eingriffe verbessern soll. Das KARVIMIO-Unterstützungssystem stellt erste Entwicklungsschritte für KI-basierte AR-Visualisierungen von medizinischen Instrumenten zur Unterstützung von operationstechnischen Assistent:innen dar. Im Rahmen dieser technologischen Entwicklung konnten durch die enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Zielgruppe praxisrelevante Anforderungen erfasst und das System erprobt werden. Ein ELSI-basiertes formatives Evaluationsdesign bietet eine wertvolle Unterstützung und Ergänzung zur iterativen Ermittlung und Einbindung der Nutzendenperspektive. Das KARVIMIO-Unterstützungssystem kann die Kompetenzentwicklung fördern, Sicherheit geben, Abläufe optimieren und den fachgerechten Umgang mit Instrumenten unterstützen.
