Bedarfsgerechte gesundheitliche Versorgung im ländlichen Raum: Neue Chancen und Herausforderungen

Abstract

Es gibt vielfältige Herausforderungen bei der bedarfsgerechten gesundheitlichen Versorgung in ländlichen Regionen, in einigen Regionen ist die Unterversorgung bereits Realität. Medizinische Versorgungszentren (MVZ) können die ländliche Gesundheitsversorgung verbessern, da sie durch Interdisziplinarität, flexiblere Arbeitszeitmodelle und Festanstellungen attraktive Arbeitsstätten darstellen. Vor der Gründung eines MVZ oder vergleichbarer Modelle der Gesundheitsversorgung empfiehlt sich eine detaillierte Bedarfs- und Standortanalyse mit umfassender Datenbasis und Prognoserechnungen. Das hier vorgestellte dreistufige Analyseverfahren wurde am IAT entwickelt und kann wichtige Hinweise zur Standortwahl liefern und prognostische Einschätzungen zu Fallprognosen geben, um zukünftige Gründer auch aus dem nicht-medizinischen Sektor bei der Standortwahl maßgeblich zu unterstützen.
