Partizipative Softwareentwicklung im Spannungsfeld von Anspruch und Realität

Abstract

Im Projekt Zukunftsstadt 2030+ des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung begleitete das IAT die Entwicklung des Entwurfs für eine Lern-App mit verschiedenen Lernorten in der Stadt Gelsenkirchen. Die Entwicklung der GElernt App zeigte, wie wichtig die Beteiligung von Zielgruppen bei der Entwicklung einer Anwendung für diese ist - denn Technik entsteht nicht in einem sozialen Vakuum. Methoden partizipativer Technikentwicklung sind kontextabhängig. Anstelle des vorgesehenen Konzeptes von Citizen Science wurden hier andere Methoden genutzt, den Prozess in ein rapid prototyping Verfahren bzw. in evolutionäres Prototyping umzuwandeln. Langfristiges Engagement ist nur zu verwirklichen, wenn Strategien zur langfristigen Einbindung und intrinsische Motivation vorliegen.
