Telemedizin und AAL in Deutschland: Geschichte, Stand und Perspektiven

Abstract

In der Theorie sind sich viele Gesundheitsexperten einig, dass ein größerer Einsatz der Telemedizin enorme gesellschaftliche und wirtschaftliche Vorteile mit sich bringen könnte. Trotzdem sind viele telemedizinische Dienste und Projekte immer noch kein Standard im medizinischen Alltag, sondern meist Pilotprojekte, die nach Ende der Finanzierungszeit nicht fortgeführt werden. Im Bereich der Telemedizin existieren viele einzelne Lösungen mit bottom-up Charakter, wodurch die nötige systematische Übersicht des sich schnell verändernden Marktes erschwert wird. Es gibt derzeit keine kostenlose, bundesweite Datenbank mit systematischer Erfassung geförderter Gesundheits-Telematikprojekte nach einem festen Kriterienkatalog.
