Abstract

Das Programm #heimatruhr förderte 40 Projekte von Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, Kreativen und Kulturschaffenden, durch die (neue) Heimatorte in den Stadtquartieren der Ruhrgebietsstädte entstanden. Im Rahmen einer ersten Befragung wurde die Einschätzung von Kulturschaffenden zur "Heimat-Ruhrgebiet" erhoben. Aus den Ergebnissen der Befragung geht hervor, dass das Ruhrgebiet von Kreativen und Kulturschaffenden u.a. besonders mit Diversität und kultureller Vielfalt verbunden und als Zuwanderungsregion wahrgenommen wird. In einer zweiten Befragung ist die Wirkung der geförderten Projekte sowie der sich engagierenden Personen und die Anzahl an Aktionen / Veranstaltungen eingeschätzt worden. Demnach wirkten die Projekte auf die Stadtteile, indem sie Orte schufen oder bestehende Orte entwickelten, die zu neuen Treffpunkten und Heimatorten wurden bzw. das Potenzial haben, solche zu werden.
