Diversität durch Migration: Eine Chance für die Wirtschaft

Abstract

Globalisierung ist ein Transformationsprozess, der nicht nur die Wirtschaft betrifft, sondern auch Konsequenzen für den Migrationsfluss hat. Migranten stellen ein kulturelles und wirtschaftliches Kapital für Regionen und ihre Unternehmen dar. Identifikation mit einer Region wird vor allem durch Interaktionsprozesse gefördert, u.a. am Arbeitsplatz. Regionale Kulturen und Identitäten werden durch Migrationsbewegungen zunehmend durchmischt und somit diversifiziert. Diversität birgt Potenziale, die Vorteile für die regionale Wirtschaft bringen. Um die Potenziale der Diversität zu fördern, greifen Unternehmen auf verschiedene Verfahren zurück, darunter vor allem die Weiterbildung.
