Soziale und gesundheitliche Ungleichheit in Nordrhein-Westfalen

Abstract

Die Kreise und kreisfreien Stadte NRWs unterscheiden sich erheblich in Hinblick auf die soziale, demografische und gesundheitliche Lage. In den nördlichen Stadten des Ruhrgebiets kumulieren die soziodemografischen und gesundheitlichen Problemlagen. Gelsenkirchen ist hiervon besonders stark betroffen. Quartiersansatze können Losungen entwickeln, um die Lebensqualität der Menschen im Quartier zu verbessern. Hierzu sollten die Gesundheits- und Sozialdienste starker vernetzt werden. Für eine bessere Integration der Gesundheits-, Sozial- und Bildungspolitik sollte eine integrierte Gesundheits-, Sozial- und Bildungsberichterstattung etabliert werden. Hierfür wäre es wünschenswert, wenn weitere Gesundheitsdaten auf kleinraumiger Ebene durch die amtliche Statistik zu Verfügung gestellt werden könnten.
