Clustermanagement: Standards einer neuen Profession

Abstract

Erfolgreiches Cluster Management erfordert eine langfristig angelegte Strategie, die sich an den regionalen Stärken orientiert. Cluster Management erfordert einen regionalen Konsens, der Verbindlichkeiten schafft. In jedem dritten Cluster sind mehr als fünf Beschäftigte mit Managementaufgaben betraut. Kernaktivitäten des Cluster Managements bilden die Kooperationsförderung, die Durchführung von Veranstaltungen sowie die Vermarktung des Clusters nach innen und außen. Zentrale Defizite im Cluster Management stellen die unzureichende Strategieorientierung und mangelnde Evaluierung der eigenen Clusteraktivitäten dar. Jedes Cluster ist einzigartig; folglich kann kein Cluster Management Konzept als Optimallösung mit Erfolgsgarantie proklamiert werden.
