Ganztagsförderung an Grundschulen: Ein bildungs- und sozialpolitisches Konzept für mehr Chancengleichheit?

Abstract

Ein bedarfsgerechter Ausbau von Ganztagsschulen eröffnet die Chance, Kindern eine kooperative Förderung zugänglich zu machen sowie Lern- und Teilhabechancen für benachteiligte Kinder zu verbessern. Trotz wachsender Teilnahmequoten bestehen Exklusionsrisiken für Kinder aus bildungsbenachteiligten Familien oder mit Migrationshintergrund. Diesen Risiken kann durch eine Finanzierung entgegengewirkt werden, die soziale und interkommunale Disparitäten berücksichtigt. Eine Ganztagsförderung, die bildungs- und sozialpolitischen Anforderungen gerecht wird, braucht Konzepte, die Freizeit, Lernen und individuelle Förderung verbinden - mit Fokus auf Sprachbildung, sozialer Kompetenz und kindgerechter Partizipation. Eine Basis für gute Ganztagsförderung ist die Einbindung in Präventionsketten mit verbindlichen Kooperationsstrukturen innerhalb der Schule und zwischen Ganztagsschulen und externen Partnern.
