Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie vermittelt einen Abriss darüber, was zu den Kernproblemen der gegenwärtigen Situation des Landes Bremen - vor allem hohe Staatsverschuldung, gravierende Arbeitslosigkeit, überdurchschnittliche Armuts- und Armutsgefährdungsquote, Bildungsnotstand, mangelnde Qualifikation von Arbeitskräften - geführt hat. Sie beschränkt sich auf die Faktoren, die nach Auffassung der Autoren entscheidend für die Problemfelder waren und sind. Die genannten Faktoren konfrontieren die Politik mit wesentlichen Herausforderungen für die Zukunft.
