Workers' Voice: Die Stimme der Arbeitnehmer in der europäischen Corporate Governance - eine Einladung, neue Perspektiven für die Mitbestimmung zu eröffnen

Abstract

Der Mitbestimmungsreport Nr. 52 fasst die Ergebnisse der Böckler-Expertengruppe "Workers' Voice" zusammen und zeigt, dass in Europa verschiedene Formen der Workers' Voice verbreitet sind - als funktionale Äquivalente mit ähnlichen Merkmalen und Zielen: Vertretung von Arbeitnehmerinteressen, Schutz und Durchsetzung der Arbeitnehmerrechte und proaktive Mitwirkung an Managemententscheidungen. Damit Workers' Voice eine starke Rolle für ein soziales Europa spielen kann, muss die EU den europäischen Rechtsrahmen überarbeiten und "Good Corporate Governance" stärken. Dazu gehört es, die Mitbestimmung in Aufsichts- und Leitungsorganen multinationaler Gesellschaften rechtsverbindlich zu verankern, bestehende Beteiligungsrechte auf nationaler Ebene zu schützen und Mindeststandards für Unterrichtung, Anhörung und Mitbestimmung festzulegen.
