Abstract

Digitalisierte Produktionsprozesse und neue Technologien verändern Arbeitsweisen und -abläufe, Kommunikation mit Kollegen, Vorgesetzten und Kunden. Aus arbeitswissenschaftlicher Sicht entstehen neue Belastungen und Beanspruchungen für Beschäftigte. Wissensarbeit ist fokussiert darauf, neues Wissen und Informationen zu erwerben und anzuwenden. Wissensarbeiter sind oft räumlich und zeitlich flexibel, arbeiten mobil. Folgen mobiler Arbeit und komplexe Wirkmechanismen sind nicht hinreichend untersucht. Daher wurde zunächst der aktuelle Stand arbeitswissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse prägnant zusammengetragen. Offene Fragen: Wie lassen sich Ruhe- und Erholzeiten bei unterschiedlichen Belastungsbedingungen und persönlichen Konstellationen definieren? Wie wirken sich selbstverantwortliches und selbst organisiertes Arbeiten aus? Inwieweit wird Arbeitszeit wirklich frei und selbstbestimmt festgelegt? Inwieweit erzeugen Zeitdruck, ständige Erreichbarkeit und Selbstausbeutung eine verhältnismäßig größere Belastung als bei weniger selbstbestimmten Arbeitsformen?
