Innovative Betriebsratsarbeit: Eine Sonderauswertung des Deutschen Betriebsrätepreises 2009 - 2014

Abstract

Es lassen sich drei wesentliche neue Felder der Mitbestimmung identifizieren: die stärkere Einbindung von Beschäftigten durch direkte Partizipation, dieStärkung und Übernahme sozialer Verantwortung (CSR) und die Erschließung neuer Zielgruppen. Innovative Betriebsratsarbeit ist kreativ und außergewöhnlich: Immer häufiger bedienen sich Betriebsratsgremien besonderer und kreativer Methoden, um die Beschäftigten intensiv in den Prozess einzubinden oder um auf eine besondere Art und Weise einen Missstand erfahr- und erlebbar zu machen. Innovative Betriebsratsarbeit ist strategisch und konzeptionell ausgelegt: Sie arbeitet mit langfristigen Konzepten und agiert bewusst nachhaltig. Innovative Betriebsratsarbeit ist technisch und digital: Die Verwendung von neuen Medien zur Verbreitung von Informationen über weit verzweigte Unternehmensstandorte hinweg ist zur akzeptierten Methodemoderner Betriebsratsarbeit geworden. Es gelingt den Betriebsräten immer häufiger, sich Felder zu erschließen, in denen ihnen durch Betriebsvereinbarungen zum Teil erhebliche Rechte weit über das Gesetz hinaus eingeräumt werden.
