Die neue Komplexität von Wertschöpfung: Warum Wertschöpfung immer globaler und komplexer wird und welche Effekte das auf Beschäftigung in Deutschland hat

Abstract

Angesichts unübersichtlicher Lieferketten und zuweilen unzureichender sozialer Standards stellt sich die Frage, welche Entwicklungen zu dieser Komplexität beigetragen haben. Der Report führt zwei Gründe an: Die Auslagerung von Teilen der Produktion in Niedriglohnländer und die Aufspaltung der Produktion in kleinteiligere Schritte und Auslagerung an Zulieferer auf Basis der Modularisierung. Darüber hinaus vollzogen Unternehmen in den industriellen Kernbranchen den Schritt von der diversifizierten zur globalen Qualitätsproduktion, indem sie Qualitätsproduktionsstandorte in den neuen Märkten der Schwellenländer aufbauten.
