Abstract

Schichtarbeit kann Gesundheit und Sozialleben der Beschäftigten beeinträchtigen und so die Lebensqualität mindern und zu Erwerbsunterbrechungen sowie kürzeren Erwerbsverläufen führen. Schichtarbeit ist aber nicht gleich Schichtarbeit, denn sie führt nicht bei allen Beschäftigten zu gesundheitlichen Problemen und sozialer Isolation. Unter welchen Bedingungen beeinträchtigt Schichtarbeit Gesundheit und Sozialleben? Wie können Schichtsysteme gesund und sozialverträglich gestaltet werden? Antworten auf diese Fragen liefert der vorliegende Report.
