Was verbindet, was trennt die Deutschen: Werte und Konfliktlinien in der deutschen Wählerschaft im Jahr 2017

Abstract

Die gesellschaftliche Lage in Deutschland ist durch wirtschaftliche Stabilität gekennzeichnet, die zugleich mit Veränderungen und Unsicherheiten einhergeht. Welche Werte und Einstellungen teilen die Bürgerinnen und Bürger, worin unterscheiden sie sich? Neun politische Typen, die auf der Basis von Befragungsdaten identifiziert wurden, geben Auskunft über Einstellungen u. a. zu Staat und Gesellschaft, Politik, Parteien und Gewerkschaften und der beruflichen und materiellen Lebenslage. Hinsichtlich des Wertegerüsts der deutschen Wahlbevölkerung zeigen sich trotz hoher Zustimmung zu allgemeinen Werten auch Verschiebungen innerhalb des letzten Jahrzehnts sowie gesellschaftliche Konfliktlinien.
