Weiterbildung von Betriebsratsvorsitzenden in Mittelbetrieben

Abstract

Die Studie untersucht Weiterbildungsbedarf und Weiterbildungsverhalten von Betriebsratsvorsitzenden in Mittelbetrieben. Ergebnis der explorativen Befragung in 30 überwiegend mittelständischen Betrieben mehrerer Branchen: Betriebsrats-Qualifizieruung ist dort ein Ausfluss des spezifischen mittelbetrieblichen Handlungskontextes. Etwa die Hälfte der Befragten sucht nach Weiterbildung in den Themenfeldern wirtschaftliche Entwicklung/Managementwissen mit dem Ziel der Optimierung ihrer Aufgabe als 'kritische Begleiter des Managements', die andere Hälfte will eher ein spezielles Angebot zur Verbesserung der Fähigkeit, dem Betriebsverfassungsgesetz Geltung zu verschaffen. Ein förmlicher Abschluss, etwa auf Hochschulniveau, spielt dabei eine untergeordnete Rolle.
