Ungleichheit in Liechtenstein: Entwicklung bei Vermögen und Einkommen

Abstract

In den letzten drei Jahrzehnten hat die Konzentration von Vermögen international zugenommen, und in fast allen hochentwickelten Staaten ist es zu einer Zunahme der Einkommensungleichheit gekommen (nachdem diese seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg bis in die 1980er-Jahre stark abgenommen hatte). Der vorliegende Beitrag diskutiert diese Thematik und stellt die wichtigsten Kennzahlen zur Verteilung von Vermögen und Einkommen in Liechtenstein zusammen, soweit es die bisherige Datenlage erlaubt. Während seit dem Ende der 1960er-Jahre die Ungleichheit der Vermögen in Liechtenstein stark zugenommen hat, ist die Ungleichheit der Einkommen stabil geblieben.
