Projektionen von Arbeitsangebot und -nachfrage nach Qualifikation und Beruf im Vergleich: Schwerpunktthema zum Bericht "Bildung und Qualifizierung als Grundlage der technologischen Leistungsfähigkeit Deutschlands"

Abstract

Die demographische Entwicklung wird in den nächsten Dekaden zu erheblichen Veränderungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt führen. So betrug die Einwohnerzahl Deutschlands im Jahr 2010 rund 81,5 Mio. Personen und wird bis 2030 voraussichtlich um 4,1 Mio. bzw. -5,1 % auf 77,4 Mio. zurückgehen. Die Zahl der Personen im erwerbsfähigen Alter wird um -15,5 % sinken. Inwieweit dadurch das Arbeitsangebot für einzelne Einsatzbereiche, also nach Qualifikationen und Berufen, beeinflusst wird, ist Gegenstand verschiedener umfangreicher Projektionen, die in der vorliegenden Metastudie diskutiert und ausgewertet werden.
