Die Bürokratisierung der EU

Abstract

Das Ausmaß der auf europäischer Ebene produzierten Bürokratie hat für den deutschen Steuerzahler eine besondere Bedeutung. Wie im DSi kompakt Nr. 10 'Der EU-Haushalt im Überblick' bereits aufgezeigt wurde, ist Deutschland absolut betrachtet der größte EU-Nettozahler. Im Jahr 2012 belief sich der deutsche Eigenmittel-Anteil auf 26,2 Mrd. Euro. Von den EU-Ausgaben entfielen im gleichen Jahr rund 12,2 Mrd. Euro auf Deutschland. Daher liegt es im besonderen Interesse der deutschen Steuerzahler, dass die EU sparsam mit den ihr zur Verfügung gestellten Mitteln umgeht (siehe DSi 2014). [...]
