Anmerkungen zum Umgang der Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit Unternehmenskrisen

Abstract

Die Zahl der Unternehmensinsolvenzen steigt. Man sollte erwarten, dass Krisendiagnose und Krisenmanagement in der Betriebswirtschaftslehre höchste Aufmerksamkeit finden. Das Gegenteil ist der Fall: Allenfalls befasst man sich mit Überschuldung und Illiquidität - also mit der Schlussphase der Krise. Demgegenüber fehlt es an systematischer Erforschung von Krisenursachen im Vorfeld der Agonie. Reaktives Krisenmanagement findet größeres Interesse als proaktive Krisendiagnose und Krisenprävention. Gesetzliche Zwänge und marktwirtschaftlicher Druck werden die Unternehmen zwingen, sich intensiv mit Risiko und Krise zu befassen. Die Betriebswirtschaftslehre sollte diese Arbeit nicht den Unternehmen allein, den Beratern oder gar den Juristen überlassen. Sie ist herausgefordert.
