Abstract

Nachdem sich der Ausbildungsmarkt in den letzten Jahren langsam von den Einbußen der Coronapandemie erholt hat und wieder leichte Zuwächse zu verzeichnen waren, ist die Zahl der neu abgeschlossenen Ausbildungsverträge 2024 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um -0,5% auf rund 486.700 Verträge gesunken. Dies ist eines der zentralen Ergebnisse der Analysen des BIBB zur Entwicklung des Ausbildungsmarktes im Jahr 2024. Sie basieren auf der BIBB-Erhebung über neu abgeschlossene Ausbildungsverträge zum Stichtag 30. September sowie auf der Ausbildungsmarktstatistik der Bundesagentur für Arbeit. Die Publikation gibt u. a. einen Überblick zu erfolglosen Marktteilnahmen und Passungsproblemen sowie dem Ausbildungsplatzangebot und der -nachfrage.
