Höherqualifizierende Berufsbildung: Indikatoren und Datenlage

Abstract

Die höherqualifizierende berufliche Bildung (HQBB) unterscheidet sich in Bezug auf eine Reihe von Merkmalen grundlegend von den übrigen Weiterbildungsbereichen, insbesondere dem non-formalem Lernen sowie anderen formalen Lernaktivitäten. Daher erscheint es unerlässlich, dass ein effektives Weiterbildungsmonitoring diesen Bereich durchgängig getrennt behandelt. Der vorliegende Beitrag definiert eine Reihe von Sachverhalten, die Bestandteil eines Monitorings zur HQBB sein sollten. Anschließend prüft er, über welche Sachverhalte das aktuelle Weiterbildungsmonitoring bereits berichtet. Außerdem werden Datenbestände identifiziert, die Informationen zur HQBB enthalten, jedoch aktuell nicht in die Berichterstattung eingehen. Auch Datenlücken werden benannt. Soweit statistische Informationen zu den definierten Indikatoren vorliegen, werden zudem einige Schlaglichter gesetzt.
