产业集群的结构特征及其对地区创新的影响

Abstract

产业集群是促进企业创新的重要机制，但产业集群的不同结构特征对创新的影响存在较大差异。本文从两个维度考察了产业集群的异质性对地区创新的影响：（1）借鉴Poter（2003）、Delgado et al.（2015）、Delgado et al.（2016）的方法，将产业分为贸易型产业和本地型产业，并采用新的方法区分和识别了总产业集群、贸易型产业集群和本地型产业集群及其对地区创新的影响；（2）考察了地区产业集群的专业化与产业集群的多样化而非整体集群中的产业专业化与产业多样化对地区创新的影响。基于中国2005-2007年286个城市的面板数据的实证研究结果发现：（1）虽然地区总产业集群对地区创新有显著的正向促进作用，但这种促进作用主要来自于贸易型产业集群的外部效应，而本地型产业集群对地区创新并没有显著性影响；（2）产业集群的专业化能有效促进地区创新，而产业集群的多样化对地区创新的影响并不显著，这意味着仅仅关联性产业在地区的集聚才能有效促进地区创新。
