Gelismekte olan ülkeler ve Türkiye açýsýndan kadýn egitiminin ekonomik ve sosyal boyutu üzerine bir degerlendirme

    Kadýn eðitimiyle ilgili bir çok çalýþmada, bir kadýný eðitmenin, bir aileyi eðitmekle eþdeðer olduðu ve bir erkeði eðitmeye göre daha önemli olduðu vurgulanmaktadýr. Kadýn eðitiminin ekonomiye ve topluma olumlu katkýlarý bilinmesine raðmen özellikle geliþmekte olan ülkelerde kadýnlarýn eðitimine daha fazla önem verilmesi gerektiði çok dikkate alýnmamaktadýr. Bildiri, kadýn eðitiminin ekonomik ve sosyal boyutunu, geliþmekte olan ülkeler ve Türkiye açýþýndan incelemektedir. Çalýþmada, kadýn eðitiminin mevcut durumu ve geliþme trendi analiz edilmiþ, ulaþýlan bulgular Türkiye açýsýndan yorumlanmýþtýr. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, eðitimde cinsiyet eþitliðinin saðlanarak kadýnlarýn eðitim seviyesinin yükseltilmesi, kiþisel ve sosyal getirilerin artýrýlmasýnýn yaný sýra, geliþmekte olan ülkelerin ve Türkiye’nin kalkýnmasýna hýz katabilecek ekonomik bir öneme sahiptir.
