Das Image des Versicherungsmaklers. Ein Vergleich des Eigen- und Fremdbildes des Maklers in der österreichischen Versicherungswirtschaft

Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage des derzeitigen Standes des Images des Absatzorgans Makler in der österreichischen Versicherungswirtschaft. Das Image der Versicherungswirtschaft und ihrer Vermittler ist wegen der Abstraktheit des Produktes von besonderer Bedeutung für den Verkauf von Versicherungen. In einer Branche, deren gesamte Leistung auf Vertrauen beruht, schlägt jedes negative Erlebnis auf alle Unternehmen und Mitarbeiter zurück. Es wird untersucht, ob bzw. welche Unterschiede zwischen der Eigensicht des Versicherungsmaklers und der Wahrnehmung dieses Berufsstandes aus der Perspektive ausgewählter Bezugsgruppen bestehen. Des Weiteren wird festgehalten, wie das Image als solches gesehen wird, welche Bedeutung demselben zugeschrieben wird und welche Komponenten für die Imagebildung als wesentlich betrachtet werden.
