Tourismusanalyse: Nachfrage im Winter 2022/23 nahe am Vorkrisenniveau, positive Aussichten für den Sommer 2023

Abstract

Mit knapp 19 Mio. Ankünften und rund 69,3 Mio. Nächtigungen zog die Nachfrage nach Aufenthalten in Österreich von November 2022 bis April 2023 gegenüber dem von der COVID-19-Pandemie beeinträchtigten Winter 2021/22 kräftig an (+45,6% bzw. +31,5%). Auf die Höchstwerte der Vorkrisensaison 2018/19 fehlten noch rund 7% bei den Ankünften und knapp 5% bei den Nächtigungen. Damit wurde das bisher drittbeste Winterergebnis erzielt. Für den Sommer 2023 gehen Prognosen von gut 80 Mio. Nächtigungen aus, was einen neuen Nächtigungshöchststand bedeuten würde.
