Abstract

Elk jaar betreedt een grote groep schoolverlaters met een diploma de arbeidsmarkt. Dit rapport, opgesteld in het kader van het schoolverlatersonderzoek (SVO) van het Researchcentrum voor Onderwijs en de Arbeidsmarkt (ROA), fungeert als jaarlijks monitoringsinstrument. Het brengt in kaart hoe schoolverlaters de transitie van school naar werk ervaren, welke kwaliteit het gevonden werk heeft, en hoe tevreden zij zijn over hun gevolgde opleiding. Het onderzoek biedt een landelijk representatieve databron, met als voornaamste focus het inzichtelijk maken van de overgang van onderwijs naar werk. Deze resultaten dienen zowel maatschappelijke als wetenschappelijke doeleinden en ondersteunen bovendien de ontwikkeling van kwalitatief goed onderwijs en beleid. De nadruk in dit rapport ligt op mbo- en hbo afgestudeerden, al worden in beperkte mate ook schoolverlaters uit het voortgezet onderwijs meegenomen.
