Abstract

De Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt kampt met aanhoudende krapte, ook binnen de groene sectoren (Bakens et al., 2025a). Tegelijkertijd vinden binnen deze sectoren belangrijke veranderingen plaats. Enerzijds groeit de vraag naar beroepen in groene sectoren die bijdragen aan verdere verduurzaming en klimaatadaptatie in Nederland. Anderzijds neemt de vraag naar groene beroepen, zoals akkerbouwers en veetelers, af en verandert de inhoud van deze beroepen door technologische ontwikkelingen en verduurzaming. Deze verschuivingen in de vraag naar arbeid en in de inhoud van werkzaamheden maken het noodzakelijk om gericht na te denken over de transitie van arbeid binnen het groene domein. Tegen deze achtergrond is het van belang om beter inzicht te verkrijgen in de vaardigheden die vereist zijn voor beroepen in het groene domein. Dit biedt de mogelijkheid om de potentiële beroepsmobiliteit in kaart te brengen, met als doel om zowel nieuwe werkenden aan te trekken in groeiberoepen als werkenden in krimpberoepen te begeleiden naar passende alternatieve beroepen.
