L'identité organisationnelle et création du capital social : La tontine d'entreprise comme facteur déclenchant dans le contexte africain

Abstract

Depuis quelques années, les recherches en sciences de gestion et en management stratégique considèrent le capital social comme une source de performance des entreprises et de création de valeur. Nahapiet et Ghoshal (1998) et Bolino et co-auteurs (2002) ont montré précisément que les "comportements de citoyenneté dans l'organisation" contribuent au développement du capital social, et celui-ci influence positivement l'avantage compétitif. Dans le prolongement de ces travaux, nous soulignons la contingence des mécanismes de génération du capital social, et soutenons que la tontine d'entreprise est un instrument de construction de l'identité organisationnelle et de création du capital social dans le contexte africain.
