Crear tejido productivo en los países en desarrollo: una tarea para la cooperación española

Abstract

Aunque no cabe identificar el desarrollo con el mero crecimiento económico, la ampliación de las capacidades productivas de un país constituye una dimensión obligada de toda senda sostenible de progreso social. Ampliar las capacidades productivas exige, a su vez, la promoción del tejido productivo y empresarial en los países en desarrollo, potenciando la capacidad de la sociedad para convertir las iniciativas creativas en emprendimientos generadores de renta y empleo. Es esta convicción la que convierte a este sector en una de las obligadas prioridades de las políticas de desarrollo.
