El programa ERASMUS en el marco del valor económico de la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera

Abstract

El trabajo ofrece una introducción sobre el significado, los objetivos y los resultados obtenidos por el programa Erasmus en Europa. Se destaca el reducido papel de España dentro de la movilidad internacional de estudiantes y la oferta de servicios educativos de alto valor añadido, que contrasta con el papel de liderato de España en la recepción de estudiantes ERASMUS dentro de este programa europeo. Asimismo, se muestra la distribución de estos alumnos entre Comunidades Autónomas y Universidades en el conjunto de España y se ofrece una valoración del gasto de estos alumnos en España utilizando dos diferentes metodologías. Sin embargo, se argumenta que el saldo neto entre lo gastado en España por los que vienen y los costes que tienen los españoles en el exterior es nulo y que, por tanto, su papel es mucho más importante como instrumento de formación de capital humano por la experiencia internacional y el dominio de lenguas extranjeras que aporta a los participantes.
