Difusión tecnológica y modelos de crecimiento

Abstract

El progreso tecnológico es una de las variables que se consideran más favorecedoras del crecimiento económico. En concreto, es de especial relevancia el proceso de su difusión internacional o catch-up tecnológico. El objetivo de este artículo es exponer el papel que juega este proceso de catch-up en los modelos de crecimiento más representativos,esto es, el de Solow-Swan y el de crecimiento endógeno, centrándonos fundamentalmente en el análisis de la hipótesis de convergencia que se deriva de los mismos una vez introducido en ellos un proceso de difusión gradual de tecnología.
