Abstract

El trabajo utiliza como base de partida, a modo de hipótesis, un amplio conjunto de ideas sobre las diferencias interregionales de la economía española, fruto de múltiples estudios de especialistas en la materia, realizados en años recientes, sobre la estructura y dinámica del conjunto de las regiones españolas. Tales estudios han permitido la consolidación de una serie de ideas, con base empírica, sobre el curso de las diferencias interregionales de la actividad económica y sus tendencias. El "estado doctrinal de la cuestión", es decir, la básica coincidencia entre los diversos autores, que no impide la existencia de matices diferenciales en unos y otros, se ofrece de forma breve y simplificada a continuación.
