Hacia un nuevo diseño de las relaciones de la Comunidad Europea con América Latina

Abstract

Existen distintos intentos de avanzar en la integración económica en Latinoamérica, y sólo cabe esperar que tengan más éxito que todos los que ha habido hasta ahora. Ante esta situación, la CE, que sirve de ejemplo de integración económica para otros países y que está dispuesta a conformar un mercado único de 336 millones de habitantes dentro de un año y medio, (la CE) no puede permanecer impasible. No puede negar a Latinoamérica el trato equitativo que merece con respecto a cualquier otras áreas de países en vías de desarrollo.
