Precariedad económica y participación laboral. Análisis desde la perspectiva de género

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar el grado de discriminación de género existente en España, en relación con dos aspectos concretos: la pobreza y el mercado de trabajo. Para ello, en primer lugar, se construyen una serie de indicadores que permiten comparar la situación de la mujer con la de los hombres en términos de pobreza. Se intenta determinar si este colectivo se encuentra con más frecuencia en situaciones de precariedad económica y si presenta una probabilidad mayor de caer en situación de pobreza. A continuación, se analiza cual es la situación de la mujer en el mercado de trabajo y se construye un modelo para analizar los posibles factores que influyen en la participación laboral femenina.
