Cambio estructural e inserción exportadora de las economías poscomunistas en la Europa central y oriental

Abstract

La liberalización del comercio exterior y la apertura al mercado mundial fueron pasos imprescindibles para desmantelar los sistemas de tipo soviético y para favorecer el desarrollo de una nueva dinámica económica impulsada por la presión competitiva externa y, más en general, por una mayor conexión de las economías poscomunistas con los mercados, los precios y los flujos económicos y financieros internacionales. En este contexto, las preguntas relevantes que pretendemos contestar en este trabajo están relacionadas con los resultados de la transición en el terreno de la nueva especialización comercial productiva que provoca la integración en el mercado mundial de las economías poscomunistas centroeuropeas. Pretendemos analizar si se han producido transformaciones sustanciales en la estructura de las ventajas competitivas de estos países y si dichas transformaciones han supuesto una homologación con las economías de la Unión Europea.
