Registered author(s):

    La Comunidad de Madrid ha recibido 2,9 mil millones de euros desde 1990 hasta 2006 procedentes de los fondos comunitarios de la Política de Cohesión. Esta inversión ha implicado un aumento del 0,5% del PIB regional a lo largo de dicho período, gracias a la mejora del capital público, la capacidad productiva privada y el capital humano de la región. El empleo también se ha visto favorecido, con un impacto estimado de similar magnitud. Respecto a los efectos producidos durante la realización de las inversiones, se obtiene que el VAB regional se ha podido incrementar en 2,3 mil millones de euros, con un empleo creado o mantenido que ascendería, en media, a más de cuatro mil empleos.
