Estructura productiva, cambio técnico y empleo: Un análisis de prospectiva para la economía española

Abstract

A partir del estudio de las modificaciones acaecidas en la estructura productiva española, de los procesos de cambio técnico en curso, y de las implicaciones de ambos hechos sobre la estructura sectorial del empleo, el trabajo realiza un análisis de prospectiva, horizonte 2003, respecto a cual puede ser la futura estructura productiva y los requerimientos de empleo que se derivarán de la misma, si se mantienen los cambios en curso. Para ello utilizan las Tablas Input-Output de la economía española de 1987 y 1995, así como los datos de la Encuesta de Población Activa correspondientes a los segundos trimestres de ambos años. El ejercicio de propectiva supone la aplicación de una metodología input-output dinámica para predecir las relaciones existentes entre la demanda intermedia, la producción, los consumos intermedios totales y la demanda de empleo por sectores.
