Presencia y efectos de arrastre de las filiales extranjeras de servicios a empresas en España

Abstract

El propósito de este trabajo es el análisis del grado de penetración e importancia cuantitativa y cualitativa de las filiales extranjeras que operan en España dentro de las actividades de servicios a empresas. Enprimer lugar se ofrece un análisis teórico que explica por qué los servicios a empresas son especialmente proclives a internacionalizarse a través de inversión directa. Se constata que la teoría tradicional de la empresa multinacional también puede explicar la producción en el exterior en el caso de los servicios a empresas debido a sus activos intangibles y al aprovechamiento de ciertas imperfecciones del mercado medidas en este trabajo a travvés del grado de concentración. Se pretende comprobar lahipótesis de que existen diferencias en términos de grado de penetración y efectos de arrastre en España en las distintas actividades de servicios a empresas consideradas.
