Il modello d impresa sociale made in Switzerland . Risultati di un indagine esplorativa condotta su piano nazionale

Abstract

Grazie ai successi del modello economico e sociale di questo paese, in Svizzera la riflessione e la prassi dell economia sociale hanno avuto un certo ritardo rispetto ad altre nazioni. Solo nelle ultime due decadi si assiste alla nascita di forme di impresa sociale o di inserimento lavorativo con caratteristiche affini a quelle delle imprese sociali europee, per iniziativa in particolare di enti ed organizzazioni senza scopo di lucro. Questo articolo illustra i principali risultati di uno studio esplorativo del settore delle imprese sociali in Svizzera, finanziato dal Fondo Nazionale della Ricerca Scientifica, focalizzando l attenzione sulla finalit di inserimento lavorativo di persone vulnerabili. All indagine hanno aderito 48 organizzazioni, di cui 20 della Svizzera tedesca, 21 della Svizzera francese, 7 nella Svizzera italiana. L indagine ha valutato la dimensione e la genesi del settore e i fattori che ne hanno influenzato lo sviluppo, la coscienza dell identit di impresa sociale, e le peculiarit del contesto svizzero rispetto alla prassi europea codificata nei criteri definitori del network di ricerca EMES, rispetto ai modelli di inserimento, ai settori di produzione, alle modalit di finanziamento e agli assetti di governance. L articolo termina descrivendo i quattro prototipi di impresa sociale emersi e alcune prospettive di sviluppo per il settore in Svizzera.
