Endring i telekommunikasjon. Utfordringer for Norge

Abstract

Denne rapporten gjør en studie av en generisk teknologi, og sier noe om sannsynlig produkt -og tjenesteutvikling. Med utgangspunkt i noen av de faktorene som bestemmer teknologiutviklingen og dermed den langsiktige økonomiske vekst, har analysen som mål å kunne si noe om utfordringene for myndighetenes politikk for å sikre ønsket samfunnsutvikling. Den aktuelle teknologien er informasjons- og kommunikasjonsteknologien (ICT)1, en teknologi som i følge eksperter på økonomisk og samfunnsmessig utvikling vil være drivkraften for hvordan det informasjonsbaserte samfunnet utvikler seg og avgjørende for hvilke muligheter som åpner seg for næringsliv og mellommenneskelig kommunikasjon.
