Abstract

Cette étude examine la performance canadienne en terme de productivité au cours de la période 1961 to 2005. Elle étudie la croissance la productivité du travail et les sources de cette croissance en terme de productivité multifactorielle, de contribution de l'intensité du capital et d'amélioration des compétences des travailleurs. Elle examine aussi l'apport de la productivité à la croissance économique et à l'amélioration du niveau de vie. Enfin, cette étude analyse la part du revenu allant au travail et la rémunération horaire réelle des travailleurs. Les données publiées dans la présente étude se fondent sur la nouvelle base de données KLEMS qui a été diffusée le 25 juin 2007 (http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/13-605-x/13-605-x2007005-fra.htm).
