Abstract

Les années Actuel dresse le portrait de Jean-François Bizot, patron de presse, figure mythique de la contre-culture, personnage charismatique, disparu en 2007, à travers l’histoire de ses entreprises de presse : le magazine Actuel et Radio Nova. Les auteurs, Perrine Kervran et Anaïs Kien, sont historiennes et documentaristes. Le livre prolonge et enrichit une série de quatre documentai-res sonores diffusés début 2008 dans l’émission La Fabrique de l’Histoire, sur France Culture. L’ouvrage donne la part belle aux témoignages de ceux qui ont participé aux aventures d’Actuel et de Radio Nova, la « bande à Bizot ». Le matériau est restitué de manière brute, les extraits d’entretiens occupant près de la moitié du texte. L’ouvrage est agrémenté, au fil du texte, de nombreuses illustrations de couvertures de magazines, et accompagné d’un livret couleur de 24 pages. Ces documents permettent au lecteur de prendre la mesure de l’héritage visuel et graphique laissé par Actuel. [Premier paragraphe]
