Abstract

La publication des comptes nationaux pour le quatrième trimestre 2011 a surpris. Alors que la plupart des observateurs attendaient un recul du PIB, l’INSEE, contre toute attente, a publié une croissance positive (+0,2 %), qui dénote à la fois avec le recul généralisé de l’activité en Europe et avec la dégradation de la situation conjoncturelle interne depuis l’été 2011. On peut dès lors s’interroger sur l’éventualité de révisions ultérieures de la croissance pour l’année 2011, qui ne seraient après tout que les étapes obligées pour une évaluation plus précise de l’activité au fil du temps, comme l’expérience passée, sur laquelle nous revenons, a pu l’illustrer (...).
