La décision de la Réserve fédérale du 16 décembre 2008 finira de convaincre ceux qui doutent encore que la crise économique n’est pas d’une ampleur considérable. Alors que nous anticipions une croissance annuelle en 2009 de 3,1 % pour l’économie mondiale et de 0,4 % pour l’économie française (cf. « Les promesses de l’ombre », Lettre de l’OFCE, n° 302, 2008), notre nouvelle prévision est de 1,6 % pour le monde et – 0,4 % pour la France (tableau 1) (...).
